Originally licensed under the foundation level callisgn M6LPI in 2015, upgraded to intermediate license in 2018.

I have been interested in radio comms from an early age (early 80s) when my parents were avid CB users, unknown to me my father also passed his radio qualification which entitled him to a full license. It was not for a few decades that he claimed his callsign of M0IOS.

At home I have a Yaesu FT-897d attached to a 10m vertical as well as an Icom IC-735 on a horizontal longwire. Both are setup for use with digi modes by the use of 2 raspberry pi single board computers.

In addition I also have a DMR hotspot, 2/70 mobile in the car through a FTM-400XDR/DE with fusion capability.
