Hello world
It's my 2nd year with HAM Radio and I am still excited about this hobby. Thanks to the help of my local ham radio club in Düsseldorf (DOK R01), I learned a lot and got up to speed quickly on equipment setup, dxing and contesting. I operate in SSB and digital modes.
Since I moved to Werden in ‘24, the local club in Essen Bredeney is very supportive. I can use their club station equipment (Flex6700, Expert PA, OptiBeam, etc) remotely. Quite impressive how good and reliable remote operations works. I did a bit of contesting as well, participating in the IARU and IOTA contests.
Next to amateur radio, I am mountain biking, sailing my new "O-Jolle" and continue practicing guitar.
QSL information: LOTW, e-QSL Bureau and Direct are valid modes. Genuine reports from short wave listeners (SWLs) are welcome as well. My logs are periodically uploaded to LOTW, e-QSL, Clublog, HamQTH, and HRDLog.
73,
Michael
