My favorite bands are 2m (144MHz) - 6m (50MHz) and 10m (28MHz), I am not a 'top gun', I just like to make contacts all over the world.
Here is my request to keep the bands free for DX:

Leave the QRG DX-windows free of ANYTHING other than 'real' DX in other regions!

 EXTENDED AUDIO SYSTEM

•    1. When trying to work EB1DJ in pileup, this is not the time to test your latest QRP radio. With hundreds of people calling, you won't have much of a chance and will get frustrated trying. The odds are against you. Give QRP a break and work at full power first. Try the QRP thing later.
• 2. This is very important. When I ask (example :) "1OM" to call me ... and your call does not contain "1OM" ... but still responds, all it does is QRM the person I am looking for when they answer me. If you don't have the letters "1OM" in your call letters, STOP calling and LISTEN! It will make the pileup much faster, and then you will have the opportunity to work with me. IF YOU ARE BOTH about this, I WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU, not even how much you call. Please keep that in mind.
• 3. If someone starts doing QRM about the pileup, I would appreciate it if the rest of you mention your QRZ when working so that we can triangulate where it is locally. There is no excuse for intentional QRMing on Ham Radio. It is childish and is not part of this hobby. I will take legal action in your country to revoke your license.
• 4. When working with RTTY ... DO NOT CALL ME when I am on QSO. All it does is QRM to the sender and it lengthens the time it takes to make the correct exchange, you will not enter my log at that time, maybe later or some other day.
• 5. I have to repeat my QRZ after every transmission (read this line again). If you ask me what my call sign is in the pileup, it means that you are simply not listening. Why do you call someone when you don't know their call sign (I can ask you who you think you're calling in return)? Key: LISTEN! And LISTEN AGAIN AGAIN!.
• 6. If you have worked me in a band mode ... don't call again. Unless I don't have a build, let others who don't already have me on the register for that gang mode work for me. That is just common sense. That way, we all get the country cards we need.
• 7. Discard cluster comments like this posted: [N9XXX 3517.0 EB1DJ DX above 1-2 without ears 0223Z]. You don't know my conditions, so don't assume they are good for me to hear you. I have had atmospheric noise with loud S9 + 40 thunderclaps at times and ... accumulations so large that I cannot distinguish calls because the signals are very close and flow together even with my filters set to 1200Hz. From what you know, you could be the weakest signal in my pileup. Act decent or go work with someone else.
• 8. FT8 in operation. Please do not email me wondering why I am not responding to you on FT8. With hundreds of people calling, it's probably not the strongest signal on the frequency or the first on list. If you get in line and wait, they will work for you. STACK CALLS ... just because you didn't get a call from me in the last few cycles doesn't mean you're not on the stack. They will call you. If I don't get a call back, in TWO CYCLES, I go to the next caller and you go back to the end of the queue. THEREFORE, when you call, put other guy on hold for two cycles and finish me. If you call me once or twice and then stray ... don't come back when I call, chances are they WILL NOT work for you.
• 9. FT8 Operating ...: Here is a tip for QSOs to go faster in FT8. In WSJT-x, double-click the "Tx-1" box to close that exchange. No one needs your GRIDSQUARE. It is automatically registered by most of the good registration programs. Save 1 cycle / 15 seconds on our exchange. ALSO double-click "Tx-4" to switch to swap "RR73". That skips another cycle. This will save up to 4 cycles or an entire minute. It makes a BIG difference when the band is only open for a moment like 6 meters and 2 meters.
• 10. ALSO ... DOES NOT TRANSMIT ON MY TRANSMISSION FREQUENCY AFTER WE FINISH OUR QSO (for example, click the "Hold Tx Freq" button).

• The bands are tough, so please don't make them tougher. I ask you to always “Work Split" (usually in "Fake Mode"), this means that you should move your transmit frequency away from my transmit frequency.  
• It’s easy to do,  you simply check the “Hold Tx Freq” box and on the waterfall to move your TX frequency to a "free" place.  Then I could have continued to clear the station and come to work you or the next in line.

•  1. Cuando intente trabajar EB1DJ en pile-up, este no es el momento de probar su última radio QRP. Con cientos de personas llamando, no tendrá muchas oportunidades y se frustrará al intentarlo. Las probabilidades estarán en su contra. Dele un descanso al QRP y trabaje a su máxima potencia QRO primero. Pruebe el QRP más tarde y le animo a que lo intente.
• 2. SI USTED NO RESPETA NADA de esto, NO CONTACTARÉ CON USTED, ni siquiera por mucho que insista llamando. Por favor tenga en mente que tomo notas y realizo una lista de aquellos operadores irrespetuosos, así como también de los buenos operadores, llegando a felicitarlos por su pericia.
• 3. Si alguien comienza a hacer QRM sobre el pile-up, agradecería que el resto de ustedes mencionen su QRZ cuando me trabajen para que podamos triangular dónde está localmente. No hay excusa para causar QRM intencionadamente en la radioafición. Es infantil, absurdo y no forma parte de esta afición. Si fuese necesario se tomarán acciones legales en su país para tramitar una denuncia con posible sanción administrativa e incluso llegar a revocar su licencia temporal o definitivamente.
• 4. Cuando trabaje en RTTY ... NO ME LLAME cuando esté en QSO. Todo lo que hace es QRM al remitente y alarga el tiempo que tarda en hacer el intercambio correcto, no entrará a mi log en ese momento,tal vez más tarde o algún otro día, solo si respeta para ser respetado.
• 5. Repetiré mi QRZ después de cada transmisión en un pile-up!, (lea esta línea nuevamente). Si me usted pregunta cuál es mi distintivo de llamada en el pile-up, significa que simplemente no está haciendo una escucha previa y tiene usted mucha prisa. ¿Por qué llama a alguien cuando no conoce su distintivo de llamada? ¿puedo preguntarle a quién cree que está llamando? La Clave: ¡ESCUCHE!, ¡ESCUCHE! Y ¡ESCUCHE OTRA VEZ CON MÁS ATENCIÓN!
• 6. Si me ha trabajado ese día en el mismo modo y banda ... no vuelva a llamarme. A menos que no tenga seguro de haber escuchado mi reporte hacia usted. Deje que otros que aún no me tengan en su log para ese modo/banda y día intenten trabajarme con éxito. Esto es tan solo algo de sentido común. De esa manera, todos obtendremos las tarjetas QSL para confirmación de países, cuadrículas …etc, que necesitamos.
• 7. Descarte los comentarios del clúster como este ejemplo publicado: [EA0XXX 3517.0 EB1DJ DX split de 1-2 arriba y sordo! 0223Z], no sea irrespetuoso, sea más paciente. No conoce mis condiciones de estación, QRN-QRM…etc, así que no asuma que es sencillo que le escuche. He tenido ruido atmosférico continuado durante horas e incluso días, con fuertes truenos y chasquidos a veces de S9 + 40 y ... con acumulaciones tan grandes que no puedo distinguir las llamadas.Si las señales están muy cerca y fluyen juntas, incluso con mis filtros de ssb configurados a 1200Hz, en ocasiones resulta complicado. Por lo que ya sabe, podría ser la señal más débil de mi pile-up.
  Actúe de manera decente y distinguida o de lo contrario vaya a trabajar con otra estación, en la mía no entrará en el log con esas formas. (Así de claro y tajante).
• 8. Trabajando en modo FT8/FT4 o cualquier otro MGM. Por favor, no me envíe un correo electrónico preguntándome por qué no le estoy respondiendo o por qué no figura en el log...Simplemente, si no figura en el log intente trabajarme nuevamente. Con cientos de personas llamando, probablemente usted no sea la señal más fuerte en la frecuencia o la primera en mi lista. Si hace cola y espera pacientemente su turno o el momento adecuado, me trabajará sin mayores complicaciones.
  LLAMADAS EN ESPERA A LA COLA DEL PILE-UP... solo porque no ha recibido una llamada mía en los últimos ciclos no significa que no esté en la cola. Yo le llamaré cuando sea el momento de su turno. Si no me devuelve la llamada, en DOS CICLOS, continuaré hacia la siguiente persona/estación que llama y usted volverá al final de la lista en espera. POR LO TANTO, cuando me llame, ponga al otro OM en espera durante dos ciclos y termine primero conmigo. Si usted me llama una o dos veces y luego se pierde con otra estación ... no regrese cuando yo vuelva a llamar CQ, es probable que NO responda para usted en ese momento.
• 9. Operando en FT8/FT4: Aquí hay un consejo para que los QSO se realicen más rápido en FT8/FT4 (Personalmente me gusta y prefiero realizar todos los QSO en periodos de TX completos). En MSHV / WSJT-X / JTDX, haga doble clic en el recuadro "Tx-1" o configuración del programa para cerrar ese intercambio. A menos que su distintivo de llamada no figure en ninguna de las bases de datos disponibles on-line o se encuentre en portable no será necesaria su GRIDSQUARE. La mayoría de los programas de registro que tienen una buena base de datos actualizada lo registrarán automáticamente. Ahorre 1 ciclo / 15 segundos en nuestro intercambio, esto en ocasiones es un factor importante para lograr completar un QSO. También haga doble clic en "Tx-4" o configuración del programa para cambiar el intercambio a "RR73", esto hará saltar otro ciclo, ahorrará hasta 4 ciclos o un minuto completo. Esto es MUY IMPORTANTE cuando en las bandas altas tan solo están abiertas las condiciones de propagación por un momento como los 28MHz, 50MHz, 70MHz, 144MHz y 432MHz en ciertas épocas del año, debido al tipo de propagación.
• 10. TAMBIÉN RECUERDE QUE... NO SE TRANSMITE EN MI FRECUENCIA DE TRANSMISIÓN DESPUÉS DE TERMINAR NUESTRO QSO (por ejemplo, haga clic en el botón "Hold Tx Freq").

These are some of the points you should keep in mind if your goal is to make good enemies in MGM modes.

Of course, it goes without saying, if your goal is the opposite and you want to make friends, then now you have the opportunity to learn how not to behave when trading MGM.

• After answering someone's CQ, after finishing the QSO, start calling CQ on the same frequency, don't do QSY. In this way you will annoy the station you just contacted as much as possible and will certainly have a fond memory of the QSO with you.
• Start calling CQ on busy frequencies. Select an audio frequency that you see occupied in the waterfall instead of a free frequency. Doing so will not only disturb stations on QSOs on that frequency, you will also ensure that you do not receive many responses to your CQ as their signal is likely to cover that of potential stations calling you.
• When answering a CQ, start the QSO by sending message / macro # 4 (RRR or RR73) instead of messages / macros # 1 or # 2. After all, why exchange signal reports if you can skip them and start the QSO directly on the last messages of the sequence? When the calling station does not answer you when you try to start the QSO by sending RRR or RR73, continue to insist for at least 10 minutes or more, so that you can see how good an operator you can be.
• When you are answering a CQ, just after completing the QSO, start calling again insistently. He will surely appreciate your interest in doing two QSOs with him in a row, even having received the complimentary RR73 or 73.
• When stations near your QTH are calling CQ using even periods (00/30), make sure that you always call CQ in odd periods (15/45). This way you make sure to interfere with each other and both of you will make fewer contacts, which is great as you will have to send fewer QSL cards.
• When you see the stations near your QTH calling a rare DX station, don't hesitate and start calling CQ non-stop in the same period as the DX and on an audio frequency close to or on the same. Do not call in the same period as your neighbors because then you would not disturb them. Also try to use new modes such as Q65 in the frequencies established for FT4 / FT8 / FSK or MSK in the IARU region to which you belong and do it just when there are other stations doing QSO in another mode.
• If you are operating in the 6m band, do not follow the rules established for intercontinental propagation openings. Those rules say that during openings between Europe and Asia or between Europe and America, European stations should always call CQ in even periods (00/30 seconds) while Asian / American stations should always call CQ in odd periods ( 15/45 seconds). The objective is obviously to avoid, as far as possible, that the strong signals from the continent itself cover the weaker DX signals. But you are a maverick and you don't want to follow any rules, even if it means you will be working fewer DX stations. Well done! You are a phenomenon !!
• When the propagation opening has finished, especially on the VHF bands, continue calling CQ non-stop for at least three hours or more. Possibly you will not do any QSOs at all during those hours, but at least you will make sure that your neighboring stations are not able to receive anything else and that they keep you in mind in their "daily prayers", at some point they will send you some kind of diploma with a nice print.
• Do not select the "split" or "fake it" options in the WSJT-X / JTDX / MSHV configuration. This will ensure that your audio signal generates harmonics and therefore occupies a greater bandwidth. But it does not matter you do not listen to your own signal, so why worry about occupying the bandwidth of others. Remember that the lower the audio frequency you select, the more harmonics you will generate, so always try to use audio frequencies below 400 Hz.
• Don't forget to check your ALC level and make sure to turn the audio gain to the maximum of ALC, much better if you also activate the audio compression on your equipment to the maximum. By doing so, your FT8 / FT4 signal will be wide enough to block reception not only from your neighboring stations, but also from anyone who can receive you.
• Try to get some of those wonderful alternative programs that allow you to do QSO automatically when you are out of the shack or home. It does not matter that automated operation is not allowed to individual stations in most countries, no one will notice, and in the worst case the most that can happen is that a complaint is filed against you with the telecommunications authority by from some idiot who likes to follow the rules and respect the rights of others.
• Try to find an alternative program that allows you to do several QSOs at the same time when there are no exceptional conditions depending on the type of propagation, as if you were a super DX expedition in HF. Don't worry if your hobbyist license only allows you to transmit one signal per band simultaneously or if you are stealing bandwidth from others. You will feel like a true DX'er operating from the rarest of DXCCs.
• And last but not least, is to start making FT8 / FT4 / Q65 / MSK / FSK contacts without having read and understood the manuals. Well, you started walking before crawling, driving a car before you got a license, and you built your house starting with the last roof beam before laying the foundation… so why should this be any different?
• Have you read all the manuals but haven't understood a single word? Do not worry, the important thing is to start broadcasting as soon as possible and make the most of QRM to your potential “colleagues”, in such a way that you move up in the lists of good MGM operators.

• Always remember to crack in your usual QSO environment about that OM that you have known for years and thought that we would always help each other to promote the hobby,
  instead of positively helping that person try to tell the story in your own way and without giving you Realize that you also make mistakes as a human being,
  remember that that person you are talking about has never held your mistakes in your face, although they are always willing to help others and in a very positive way.

Estos son algunos de los puntos que deberías de tener en cuenta si tu objetivo es hacer buenos enemigos en los modos MGM.

Por supuesto, no hace falta decirlo, si tu objetivo es el contrario y lo que quieres es hacer amigos, entonces ahora tienes la oportunidad de aprender como no comportarse al operar en MGM.

• Después de contestar al CQ de alguien, tras finalizar el QSO, empieza a llamar CQ en su misma frecuencia, no hagas QSY. De esta manera fastidiarás lo máximo posible a la estación que acabas de contactar y ciertamente tendrá un grato recuerdo del QSO contigo.
• Empieza a llamar CQ en frecuencias ocupadas. Selecciona una frecuencia de audio que veas ocupada en la cascada (waterfall) en vez de una frecuencia libre. Al hacerlo así no solo molestarás a las estaciones en QSO en esa frecuencia, también te asegurarás de no recibir muchas respuestas a tu CQ ya que su señal es probable que cubra la de las posibles estaciones que te llamen.
• Cuando contestes a un CQ, inicia el QSO enviando el mensaje/macro #4 (RRR o RR73) en vez de los mensajes/macros #1 or #2.  Al fin y al cabo ¿porque intercambiar reportes de señal si puedes saltártelos e iniciar el QSO directamente en los últimos mensajes de la secuencia?  Cuando la estación que llama no te conteste al intentar tú iniciar el QSO enviando RRR o RR73, continúa insistiendo durante al menos 10 minutos o más, de tal forma que vea lo buen operador que puedes ser.
• Cuando estés contestando a un CQ, justo después de completar el QSO, empieza a llamarle de nuevo insistentemente. Seguramente apreciará mucho tu interés en hacer dos QSO seguidos con él, aun habiendo recibido el RR73 o el 73 de cortesía.
• Cuando las estaciones próximas a tu QTH estén llamando CQ usando los periodos pares (00/30), asegúrate de que tú siempre llames CQ en los periodos impares (15/45). De esta manera os aseguráis de interferir unos a otros y ambos haréis menos contactos, lo cual es genial ya que tendréis que enviar menos tarjetas de QSL.
• Cuando veas a las estaciones próximas a tu QTH llamando a una rara estación DX, no lo dudes y empieza a llamar CQ sin parar en el mismo periodo que el DX y en una frecuencia de audio próxima a él o sobre la misma. No llames en el mismo periodo que tus vecinos porque entonces no los molestarías. Procura también emplear nuevos modos como el Q65 en las frecuencias establecidas para FT4/FT8/FSK o MSK en la región de IARU a la que tú perteneces y hazlo justo cuando haya otras estaciones realizando QSO en otro modo.
• Si estas operando en la banda de 6m, no sigas las reglas establecidas para las aperturas de propagación intercontinentales. Esas reglas dicen que durante las aperturas entre Europa y Asia o entre Europa y America, las estaciones Europeas deben siempre llamar CQ en los periodos pares (segundos 00/30) mientras que las estaciones Asiáticas/Americanas deben siempre llamar CQ en los periodos impares (segundos 15/45). El objetivo es obviamente evitar, en la medida de lo posible, que las fuertes señales del propio continente cubran las señales DX más débiles. Pero tú eres un rebelde y no quieres seguir ninguna regla, incluso cuando ello signifique que trabajarás menos estaciones DX. ¡Bien hecho!, eres un fenómeno!!
• Cuando la apertura de propagación haya finalizado, especialmente en las bandas de VHF, continúa llamando CQ sin parar durante al menos tres horas ó más.  Posiblemente no harás ningún QSO en absoluto durante esas horas, pero al menos te aseguraras de que tus estaciones vecinas no sean capaces de recibir nada más y de que te tengan presente en sus "oraciones diarias", en algún momento te harán llegar algún tipo de diploma con un bonito estampado.
• No selecciones las opciones de "split" o "fake it" en la configuración del WSJT-X / JTDX / MSHV.  Así garantizarás que tu señal de audio genere armónicos y que por lo tanto ocupes mayor ancho de banda. Pero da igual tú no escuchas tu propia señal, así que porqué preocuparse de ocupar el ancho de banda de los otros. Recuerda que cuanto más baja sea la frecuencia de audio que selecciones más armónicos se generan, así que intenta siempre usar frecuencias de audio por debajo de 400 Hz.
• No te olvides de comprobar tu nivel de ALC y asegúrate de subir la ganancia de audio al máximo de ALC, mucho mejor si también activas la compresión de audio en tu equipo al máximo. Al hacerlo así tu señal FT8/FT4 será lo suficientemente ancha para bloquear la recepción no solo de tus estaciones vecinas, también la de cualquiera que pueda recibirte.
• Intenta conseguir alguno de esos maravillosos programas alternativos que permite hacer QSO automáticamente cuando estas fuera del shack o de casa. No importa que la operación automatizada no esté permitida a las estaciones individuales en la mayoría de países, nadie lo notará, y en el peor de los casos lo más que puede pasar es que se presente una denuncia contra ti a la autoridad de telecomunicaciones por parte de algún idiota al que le guste seguir las reglas y respetar los derechos de los demás.
• Intenta conseguir un programa alternativo que te permita hacer varios QSO a la vez cuando no hay unas condiciones según el tipo de propagación que sean excepcionales, como si fueras una súper expedición DX en HF.  No te preocupes si tu licencia de aficionado solo te permite transmitir una señal por banda de manera simultánea o si estas robando el ancho de banda a los demás. Te sentirás como un verdadero DX´er operando desde el más raro de los DXCC.
• Y finalmente, pero no menos importante, es empezar a hacer contactos FT8 / FT4 / Q65 / MSK / FSK sin haber leído y comprendido los manuales.  Bueno, tu empezaste a caminar antes que gatear, conducir un coche antes de tener licencia y construiste tu casa empezando por la última viga del tejado antes de hacer los cimientos… así que ¿porque debería esto ser diferente?
• ¿Has leído todos los manuales pero no has entendido ni una sola palabra? No te preocupes, lo importante es empezar a transmitir lo antes posible y hacer el máximo de QRM a tus posibles “colegas”, de tal manera que subas puestos en las listas de buenos operadores de MGM.
• Acuerdate siempre de rajar  en tu entorno de QSO habitual sobre ese OM que conoces desde hace años y pensaba que siempre nos ayudariamos unos a otros para fomentar la afición, en vez de ayudar positivamente a esa persona procura contar la historia a tu manera y sin darte cuenta de que tu tambien cometes errores como humano que eres, recuerda que esa persona de la que hablas nunca te ha echado en cara tus errores, aunque siempre se muestra dispuesta a ayudar a los demás y de manera muy positiva. Tu eres diferente, de ahi la biodiversidad del medio, digamos que eres especialito. Enhorabuena campeon!, gracias a tus comentarios incoherentes has logrado que otras personas credulas hablen mal sin conocer ni comprobar la realidad.
