Sou novo no radio-amadorismo, enquanto detentor de licença de radio-amador, mas desde os meus 14 anos que lido com o mundo das comunicações rádio. Os primeiros contactos com o radioamadorismo foram através das estações montadas por radio-amadores da minha cidade de nascimento, Castelo Branco, quando instalavam os seus equipamentos nas estações especiais destinadas ao JOTA, no agrupamento de Escuteiros 160 do CNE. Os primeiros radio-amadores que vi em acção foram CT4RK, Carlos Mourato e o infelizmente já falecido, CT4CT, Pepe Las Heras.

A partir daí, tanto no serviço militar na Força Aérea Portuguesa, onde prestei serviço militar, como a nível profissional, estive sempre em contacto com as comunicações rádio.Fui também, durante esse período, responsável pela gestão do JOTA para a Junta Regional do Agrupamento 160 (Portalegre e Castelo Branco) do Corpo Nacional de Escutas e fui responsável pela criação de uma emissora local/regional de radiodifusão (Rádio Antena Júnior - FM 88MHz, posterior Rádio Beira Interior e actual Rádio Castelo Branco e ainda pela difusão do "cebeísmo".

A minha vida profissional não me facultou a possibilidade de me dedicar à actividade quanto gostaria, tendo-me remetido durante muitos anos ao SWL.

Actualmente resido na região de Lisboa, mais concretamente junto da maravilhosa zona de Queluz-Belas, Sintra onde se encontram algumas das mais maravilhosas paisagens e locais imbuídos de pura magia.

Actualmente, devido à minha condição profissional me permitir usufruir de mais alguma estabilidade de tempo, decidi, em Dezembro de 2019 reiniciar a actividade sendo-me atribuido, após exame classe 3, o indicativo CR7AWL. Desde Junho de 2022, após aprovação em exame para classe 2, passei a usar o indicativo, CS7AWL

Sou Chefe Principal de Polícia, dediquei grande parte da minha carreira na Lofoscopia e Investigação Criminal e actualmente estou integrado na Divisão de Segurança a Transportes Públicos da Polícia de Lisboa, responsável pela Segurança da rede Metropolitana de Comboios, Metropolitano e Terminal de Cruzeiros de Lisboa e Esquadras de Turismo.

I am new to radio-amateurism, as a radio-amateur license holder, but since I was 14 years old I have dealt with the world of radio communications. The first contacts with HAM radio were through the stations set up by radio amateurs in my hometown, Castelo Branco, when they installed their equipment in the special stations destined for JOTA, in the Scout group 160 of the CNE. The first radio amateurs I saw in action were CT4RK, Carlos Mourato and the sadly deceased CT4CT, Pepe Las Heras.
From then on, both in the military service in the Portuguese Air Force, where I served in the military, and at a professional level, I was always in contact with radio communications.

I was also, during that period, responsible for the management of JOTA for the Regional Board of the 160 (Portalegre and Castelo Branco) of the National Scouts Corps and I was responsible for the creation of a local / regional radio broadcasting station (Rádio Antena Júnior - FM 88MHz, later Rádio Beira Interior and now Rádio Castelo Branco) and also for the spread of "ceebism".

Currently, due to my professional condition allowing me to enjoy some more time stability, I decided in December 2019 to restart the activity, being assigned, after class 3 exam, the callsign CR7AWL. Since June 2022, after passing the exam for class 2, I started using the callsign, CS7AWL

I currently reside in the Lisbon region, more specifically near the wonderful area of Queluz-Belas, Sintra, where you can find some of the most wonderful landscapes and places imbued with pure magic.

I am a Police Chief-Principal (Principal-sergeant), I have dedicated a large part of my career in Lofoscopy and Criminal Investigation and I am currently part of the Security Division of Public Transport of the Lisbon Police, responsible for the Security of the Metropolitan Train Network, Subway network and Lisbon Cruise Terminal and Police Stations Tourism.
