IF YOU WORKED MY QRP STATION G6EXF/QRP PLEASE CONFIRM ON MY QRP LOG G6EXF/QRP THANKS
Hello and welcome to my page.
A retired Police Officer I was licensed in September 1981. My interest was sparked on duty when I saw a man standing in the road chatting on a hand held to someone called Hassan Call sign G8ATM, who turned out to be none other than King Hussein of Jordan on a private visit to England.
These days I am exclusivley on HF bands using an Icom IC-7300, as a low power station, never more than 100w, or QRP using a Xeigu G90 transceiver, max 20 W for /P and /A. Qthr using a Delta Loop multi band on 40, 20, 15, 10 and 6 mtrs. Sigma HF 360 Vertical on 80, 30 and 17. I know, but it works!
Now working, and enjoying QRP work both SSB Phone and Digi modes. You will find the QSL in my G6EXF/QRP or /P logbooks.
If you spot me as G6EXF/QRP then you are working my Xeigu G90 hovering around 10W SSB Phone and Digi Modes
Portable or /A I use a Rybakov vertical or a Slidewinder Coil and military whip., RYBAKOV tunes well on most bands and the SLIDEWINDER is always resonant on all bands 10 to 80.
I mostly operate digi modes, due to hearing problems. Please watch out for me on FT4 where appropriate, and FT8, on 40 30, 20,17,10 & 6 mtr - Portable on SSB and digi modes.
WSPRlite on 200 mWatt or the rig on 1 Watt WSPR using WSJT-X are on air from time to time as a propagation tool.
My QTH is in the Fens, the lowland on the East coast of England by The Wash Estuary, only about 3 mtrs ASL.. Lookout for me on digi modes QTHR or Qrp /P SSB phone amd digi operating as F/G6 EXF and EA1/G6EXF
Please QSL here or on QRZ.com, eQSL or LotW - i do not have or collect QSL cards
Thank you for visiting
