(ex IW1RHG) My name is Mauro. I live in Bogliasco (near Genoa), a small town of the Paradise Gulf and ancient maritime traditions.
Bogliasco is located near the famous Portofino and about 180 km from the French border.
I have passed the examinations for amateur radio license in 2002 but my first QSO was done with a Tokay 5024 in 1973 in Citizen Band :-)

Since 2002 I'm a member of A.R.I.Rapallo dept, where in 2004, along with many members, we have activated the Portofino Lighthouse (ref. WAIL: LI-008 - ref. ARLHS: ITA-131) with callsign IR1PL.  For this activation I was operator and Manager like IW1RHG
