QSL via:
If you looked up my callsign to find out about QSLing, please follow this link.
Some thoughts on activities in modes FT4 and FT8:
- If you intend to call, always call with your grid, otherwise you won't make it. I do collect grid squares.
- If your "73" or "RR73" is not decoded, you will be called up to 3 times. If still not decoded, the contact will be discarded.
- If you see my CQ and the previous contact was not fully completed, recall with your grid as all contact data was cleared.
- Do not call, then call some other station because the other station seems to be more attractive and then come back and call again. You will then be ignored. It's simply a matter of respect.
- If you had a zero beat contact, please be so kind and select another frequency for your subsequent contacts. I know pretty well how FTx works, it's a matter of courtesy, plain and simple. There might be other, weaker stations calling zero beat which may not be decodable because you are much stronger.
- Respect targeted calls. If the call says CQ DX or whatever other region, EU is expected to sit and wait.
- Ask yourself: What sense does it make to call me if I am targeting somebody else? Do you really expect to get an answer? Would you do the same in other modes too?
- Contacts are not fully automated. It's always an attended activity.
- Read the QSL Management section for inquiries regarding QSLing.
- Finally, you won't get an answer for same band/same mode calls.
