01 My 1st Amateur Radio Station, VE1ANZ, March 19, 1969 Dartmouth NS. Heathkit DX60B Transmitter, HG10B VFO, HR-10B Receiver, RCA AR-77E Receiver, Home Brew Antenna Tuner with 135 ft long wire antenna.
02 VE1ANZ 19690500 Heathkit TX-1 Apache HF AM/CW Amateur Transmitter & National HRO-60 Reciever with banspread coils
03 VE1ANZ 19700129 Got my voice endorcement for10 Meters. Heathkit TX-1 Apache HF AM/CW Amateur Transmitter, Heathkit SB-10 Sideband Adaptor, Heathkit AK-5 Speaker, RCA AR77E Receiver & National HRO-60 Reciever with banspread coils & RCA AR77
04 Amateur Radio Station VE1ANZ, in Saint John, NB, with the Heathkit SB-600 speaker/HP-23B power supply, SB-630 Station Monitor, SB-620 Scanalyzer spectrum analyzer monitor scope, SB-102 Amateur Radio SSB/CW-Transceiver with the Heathkit original microphone. This was 1971 in Saint John, NB.
05 VE1ANZ Hartland (Chief of Police), NB 1972 - SB-102 Amateur Radio SSB/CW-Transceiver with the SB-600 speaker & Heathkit original microphone.
06 VO2AS from page 81 of August 1974 QST Magazine. In Goose Bay, Labrador. Heathkit SB-200 Linear, & HW-10 Transciever & Collins S-Line station includes the 32S-1 transmitter, the 75S-3 receiver, the 516F-2 power supply speaker and the 312B-4 station control. I also had a new hy-gain 204BA at 70 feet in the air.
07 Amateur Radio Station VE1RY 1976-77 Riverview, NB, Yaesu FR-101D RCVR, YD-844 Mic, FT-101E XCVR, SP-101B, Heathkit SB-220, with my XYL Priscilla at the mic.
08 Sussex Dr in Riverview NB, VE1RY 1978 DMXHD 48 foot tower & 4 element 20 meter Beam with 15 & 10 Meter rotatable dipole antennas made by VE3WT Howard Cowing in St. Catharines, Ontario.
09 VE1RY displaying 220 different Countries QSL Cards of 220 Stations that I worked. Also my ABDick Table Top Offset Press with Paper Plate Maker & Coppier.
10 VE1RY - Yaesu SP107P Speaker/Phone Patch, FC-107 Antenna Tuner, FT-107M Transceiver, FC-107E power Supply, YD-148 Dynamic Desktop Microphone, Ham IV controller.

Note on QSL’s
QSLs: Having been operating for 50+ years and QSLing 100% for most of that time, I have invested a small fortune in printing and sending paper QSL cards. With the advent of electronic confirmations, I have limited most all confirmations to electronic means only. Logs are uploaded automatically, when a contact is completed & I manually push Log QSO, to LoTW, eQSL, ClubLog and my QRZ.com log. Therefore please seek any needed confirmations by these systems. If you really want a paper card, I will send one Direct if Canadian postage (or US$’s) is included with request. CDN postage costs $3.25 to mail one DX card. Myself I enjoy an emailed QSL card more than a paper one. I display all received QSL Cards to my flickr collection:

Allow me to introduce myself to those of you whom have not met me before. My name is Stanley Lorne Parsons and most folks call me Stan. I was born in the fishing community of Hermitage, Newfoundland before Newfoundland became Canada's 10th Province.
I have held my Amateur Certificate since 19 March 1969 & Advanced Amateur Certificate since 10 September 1971. Have held call signs VE1ANZ Dartmouth & Halifax, NS area, Saint John & Hartland, NB; VE3BZX Downsview, ON; VO2AS Goose Bay, Labrador & VE1RY in Riverview, NB & Kingston-Greenwood, NS.
